Middle of the journey, yet still just the beginning

Well, it's pretty straightforward, really. My journey with this book has been unfolding for a solid six years. I'll admit, there were breaks along the way, and I received an incredible amount of help to bring this first book to life. Still, it took me a good six years to reach this point. This journey started long before you stumbled upon it, long before this website even existed, back when the book was just an idea.



So, for you, just starting on this journey, it's just the beginning. But for me, it feels more like the middle of a long tale.

It's interesting to think about, even beyond this moment. Everyone you meet, except maybe a newborn baby, has had a whole journey before you came into the picture. No matter how close you become, you're entering their story at a chapter that's already well underway. Sure, they can tell you about it, show you photos, maybe even some home videos, but you weren't there.

That doesn't mean your part isn't significant, though—quite the opposite, actually. The first few chapters might not have been the best, but you can focus on making each upcoming chapter the best it can be.
